FAQs
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model through a membership service, where no insurances are billed, allowing doctors to provide excellent standards of care, where time is not limited, at significantly reduced rates, and promotes an effective personal relationship with the patient. This can result in a better and more personalized comprehensive care at an affordable price.
Dr. Serrano speaks fluent English and Spanish and can provide medical care in either language.
We can use any PPO insurance for referrals, imaging, prescriptions and bloodwork orders but we don't accept any insurance plans to pay for our services.
We recommend supplementing your membership with a high-deductible plan or a healthcare sharing program to cover hospitalizations and specialized care. The DPC model covers approximately 80% of most people's needs; insurance is intended for the unexpected. Options for healthcare sharing ministries include: Atlas Direct, Medi-Share, Sedera, Liberty, Christian Healthcare Ministries, and Samaritan Ministries, among others.
